Avoid this common error with plantar fascia (foot) stretching

If you have plantar fasciitis you may have been told to stretch. Though not the right treatment for every foot, if stretching has been recommended for you, be sure you are doing it right.

The primary move for plantar fasciitis is to stretch the big toe backwards. But, the fascia tissue has multiple “cords” that branch from the heel bone.

If stretching is the right treatment for your foot pain, be sure to stretch all parts using a 3-part technique: 

✅ Big Toe

✅ Toes 2 and 3 together

✅ Toes 4 and 5 together
