Does your heel slide around when you run? Two quick ways to stop the slip.

If your heel slips when you run, you might be missing a key feature of running shoes.

Running shoes have extra lace holes at the very top that almost no one uses! These holes, or eyelets are specifically designed to provide a more secure fit by capturing the heel. 

It’s easy for your heel to slide out of your shoe when running up hills or over uneven terrain when the top eyelets are left open – leading to blisters, achilles tendon problems, and even rolled ankles.

✅ To keep your heel from slipping when you run, be sure you’re looping your laces through all of the available eyelets in your shoes. If that’s not enough, try the Heel Lock lacing technique shown here:
